Performance tests are challenges located in the Sandbox. The goal of a performance test is to defeat wave after wave of enemies using a random selection of Functions, and a restricted memory. More Functions are unlocked, and total memory is increased after each wave. There are 7 tests in total and they are unlocked as you progress through the game.
There is no set strategy for any of the tests. Since both the selection of initial functions and subsequent function unlocks is random it is not possible to create a strategy for any one test or wave within a test.
While there are no set strategies for completing the performance tests certain tricks that can be used to make the early and middle waves safer.
- Make good use of utility functions like Mask() and Jaunt() if given poor offensive choices early on.
- Take a high memory usage function as a cover to prevent overload of main functions. (e.g. Help() to cover Crash() and Spark())
